Associate Brand Manager

About the role:

As an Associate Brand Manager, you will serve as the critical interface between key retail and apparel clients and our sales and product development teams. This position is responsible for bringing a portfolio of intelligent, innovative, and sustainable solutions to life for clients. The Associate Brand Manager defines new program requirements, manages the full product development process, maintains inventory and sales reports, resolves issues, and ensures overall client satisfaction. Your role and focus are centered around serving client end-to-end needs and providing true partnership with an entrepreneurial mindset and independent confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand client business models and goals to enable success, maintaining strong relationships, answering questions, and providing detailed information about services.

• Initiate and coordinate the full product development process from client briefing to final approval, deployment, and order acceptance.

• Manage the end-to-end sales process, including inventory reports, client sales reports, and product development trackers using digital systems and processes (Oracle SalesCloud, Oracle Commerce Cloud, Eloqua, pricing, and product specification tooling).

• Prepare global price proposals, escalate price approvals in competitive bidding processes, and resolve order, quality, or deployment issues to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

• Work collaboratively across different teams to support sales growth, utilize social selling techniques to engage with potential clients and generate leads, and stay current on industry trends and product innovations.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge gained through training and experience; majors in business management or sales strongly preferred.

• Interest in and excitement to learn the Apparel industry, products, and practices.

• Excellent client service, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in technical and digital skills, including use of Google Suite, ERP (Oracle preferred), pricing tools, and product/client databases.

• Strong data analytics skill set to drive decision-making, with comfort in quantitative analysis and storytelling using data.

The salary range for this position is $76,125-$113,680 / year. The hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
