Forward-Deployed Operator
Chiri is the employer — EngRadar is a job radar, not a recruiter. We track this posting from their own careers page and send you straight there; we never handle applications or CVs.
The convergence of human and digital workforces is changing how companies build, operate, and scale.
Chiri works directly with organizations to turn that shift into working systems. Our forward-deployed teams operate inside the technologies and processes our clients already use, combining modern software engineering, AI, and practical operating expertise to build capabilities that work in the real world.
We are looking for ambitious builders who want to help shape what comes next.
We’re looking for a Forward-Deployed Operator to help lead Chiri’s client engagements from discovery through delivery.
This is a highly client-facing role that sits between business operations, consulting, technical project management, and AI transformation. You’ll work directly with executives, functional leaders, frontline teams, and Chiri engineers to understand how work gets done, identify opportunities for improvement, and keep projects moving toward measurable outcomes.
You do not need to be a software engineer. You do need enough technical fluency to understand what engineering teams are building, ask the right questions, identify blockers and dependencies, and translate between technical and business stakeholders.
Some engagements will involve software, automation, or AI agents. Others will focus more heavily on strategy, process improvement, or organizational change.
- Lead day-to-day client engagement across stakeholders including executives, Sales, Finance, Operations, Marketing, HR, IT, and technical teams.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions to understand workflows, pain points, business requirements, and opportunities for AI or automation.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, priorities, decisions, and next steps for Chiri engineers and delivery teams.
- Provide technical project management across engineering initiatives, tracking scope, milestones, dependencies, blockers, risks, and client inputs.
- Maintain alignment between clients and Chiri teams as requirements evolve and new information is uncovered.
- Identify scope changes, risks, unresolved decisions, and delivery issues early and drive them toward resolution.
- Own the health and operating state of assigned engagements in Waypoint, including progress, open items, risks, scope issues, commitments, decisions, and overall client temperature.
- Prepare clear client updates, meeting summaries, roadmaps, and executive-ready communication.
- Help clients adopt new workflows, tools, and ways of working through thoughtful change management and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in client-facing consulting, implementation, project/program management, business operations, solutions delivery, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, including scope, dependencies, milestones, risks, decisions, and accountability.
- Comfortable working with technical teams and discussing software, integrations, data, APIs, AI, and automation at a practical level.
- Strong business process and workflow thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating with everyone from frontline operators to senior executives.
- Ability to create structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Strong judgment, curiosity, and willingness to surface problems early.
- Experience working alongside software engineering or product teams.
- Experience with AI, workflow automation, enterprise software, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience conducting stakeholder interviews or business process mapping.
- Management consulting or professional services experience.
- Experience working across multiple business functions or industries.
You’ll work directly with Chiri’s founders, engineers, and clients on problems at the intersection of business transformation and AI.
This is a role for someone who enjoys understanding how businesses actually work, building trusted client relationships, bringing order to complex projects, and helping teams move from ideas to real outcomes.
