Logistics Executive

1.  Plan, coordinate and monitor daily local and export deliveries to ensure customer orders are dispatched and delivered accurately, safely and within the agreed timeframe.

2.  Work closely with Customer Service, Sales, Operations, Warehouse, transporters and freight forwarders to align delivery priorities, shipment readiness and transport arrangements.

3.  Track delivery progress and provide timely updates on shipment status, delays, urgent requests, failed deliveries and special arrangements to relevant stakeholders.

4.  Coordinate loading schedules and dispatch readiness with Warehouse and Operations, including picking, packing, staging, loading and handover of goods to appointed transporters.

5.  Prepare, check and maintain logistics documentation such as delivery orders, packing lists, shipping documents, transport records, permits where applicable and proof of delivery.

6.  Maintain accurate and up-to-date logistics records in SAP and internal tracking files, including shipment details, delivery status, transporter assignments, freight information and service issues.

7.  Liaise with transporters and logistics service providers to resolve delivery issues, monitor service performance, manage escalation cases and support continuous improvement of logistics service levels.

8.  Verify freight invoices, additional-trip charges, waiting time, standby, overtime and other transport-related costs against approved rates, delivery records and supporting documents.

9.  Support inventory and warehouse coordination activities, including stock movements, returns, damaged goods handling, inter-warehouse transfers and other logistics-related operational requirements.

10. Compile logistics reports and analyse delivery performance, freight cost, waiting charges, service disruptions and other key logistics indicators to support operational review and cost control.

11. Ensure all logistics documents and records are properly organised, filed and retained to support audit readiness, traceability and internal control requirements.

12. Ensure logistics activities comply with company procedures, safety standards, regulatory requirements and applicable requirements for the handling, storage and transportation of Sika products.

13. Carry out any other logistics, supply chain or operational duties assigned by the Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to support business continuity and departmental objectives.

Education

Diploma/bachelor's in logistics/ supply chain/business management/ engineering

Technical

• Strong co-ordination skills
• Strong computer skills (MS Office)
• SAP S4 experience is an advantage
• Fluent in English (oral & written). Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Min 1 year of working experience in relevant field. However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
