Inventory Planner

As an Inventory Planner at Rexel your duties will be:

• Place orders for stock and non-stock products based on agreed parameters as required, meeting expectations of customers and branches
• Support and ensure that inventory levels are optimized to maximize customer service levels whilst minimizing stock holding costs to the business
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure that products are delivered in a timely manner
• Working closely with inventory and category teams to proactively manage supply related issues
• Ensure system is updated and maintained for branch deals and pricing
• Support the Team Leader with reviews and recommended changes to improve operational efficiency to keep abreast of trends and changes in procurement
• Develop and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with suppliers, colleagues and branch teams
• Support Ad Hoc projects for procurement team as and when required
• Develop product and commercial knowledge applicable to product ranges and suppliers within area of responsibility

What we’re looking for… 

• Experience in Microsoft Outlook: Excel and Word
• Excellent customer service skills and awareness
• Good communication, presentation and organizational skills
• Able to analyse detailed data
