The Maintenance Technician supports the day-to-day maintenance, repair, safety, and overall care of Twin Farms’ buildings, equipment, grounds, and guest-facing spaces.

This is a hands-on role responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, light construction, and responding to day-to-day facility needs throughout the property. The ideal candidate is resourceful, technically capable, flexible, and comfortable working independently in a luxury hospitality environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs throughout guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, buildings, and property systems.

  • Troubleshoot and address general plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliance, and building maintenance needs.

  • Complete light construction, installation, renovation, and repair projects.

  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and property areas for maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for preventive care.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and changing operational priorities.

  • Diagnose issues and determine whether work can be completed internally or requires a specialized contractor.

  • Work alongside vendors and tradespeople on repairs, inspections, and larger projects.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, materials, and workspaces in a clean, safe, and organized condition.

  • Follow established safety procedures and proper use of tools, PPE, and equipment.

  • Support snow removal, seasonal property preparation, event needs, and emergency maintenance response as required.

  • Communicate clearly with team members and other departments regarding maintenance needs and completed work.

  • Maintain professionalism, discretion, and awareness when working in guest rooms and other guest-facing areas.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Hands-on experience in general maintenance, facilities, construction, or a related trade.
  • Working knowledge of several areas such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, or general building repair.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple needs.

  • Reliable, flexible, and service-oriented approach.

  • Ability to work safely and maintain high standards in a luxury hospitality environment.
