Working Student - Logistics / IT (m/f/d)

About the role:

Are you studying and curious about what happens when IT, logistics and e-commerce come together in a highly automated environment? As a Student - Logistics/IT, you’ll join our Quality Assurance ERP team and gain hands-on experience with the ERX project, supporting it from User Acceptance Testing through Go-Live and the first steps in production.

Rather than just observing from the sidelines, you’ll take ownership of assigned testing activities and see first-hand how a new solution moves from testing into day-to-day business operations.

About your tasks:

• Get hands-on with User Acceptance Testing: Support UAT for the ERX project by preparing test data and independently executing assigned test cases based on defined scenarios and expected results.
• Turn testing into clear insights: Evaluate your test results, document them accurately and highlight deviations so that QA and project colleagues have a transparent view of progress and potential issues.
• Experience a Go-Live first-hand: Continue supporting the project after testing by contributing to Go-Live and initial production activities, giving you practical insight into how new solutions are successfully brought into operation.
• Connect IT with real business processes: Work alongside colleagues from QA, the ERX project and the business, gaining practical exposure to the interaction between IT, logistics, e-commerce and automated processes.
• Help users get started: Contribute to end-user training and support colleagues in understanding and adopting the implemented solution.

About you:

• You are currently enrolled as a student and will remain enrolled for the duration of the assignment.
• You’re interested in software testing and the connection between IT and business processes and enjoy understanding how systems work in practice.
• You approach tasks in a structured and accurate way and feel comfortable independently executing defined tests and clearly documenting what you discover after appropriate guidance.
• Knowledge or experience in logistics is an advantage and will help you quickly understand the processes behind the project.
