We are looking for an experienced System Operations Support Engineer to support a banking technology environment.

The role will primarily focus on application/system operations and job scheduling management, rather than infrastructure-level support. The candidate will be responsible for managing scheduled jobs, monitoring system operations, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring smooth and reliable day-to-day application operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and monitor scheduled jobs and batch processing activities.
Create, configure, modify, and maintain jobs using scheduling tools such as JP1 or Tivoli
Monitor job execution and identify failed, delayed, or abnormal jobs.
Perform operational troubleshooting and coordinate with relevant technical teams for issue resolution.
Ensure scheduled processes and application operations run smoothly.
Perform daily operational checks and monitoring activities.
Investigate operational incidents and support timely resolution.
Maintain operational procedures, job schedules, and related documentation.
Coordinate with application development, support, and business teams when required.
Support incident, problem, and change management activities related to system operations.
