High Performance Vehicle Calibration Co-op, Kettering University - Section B

Support vehicle development activities for powersports vehicles, sports cars, and heavy trucks.

• Support limit handling chassis controls calibration and testing activities at test tracks.
• Support in-vehicle, dyno and bench testing activities of powertrain functions 
• Assist with maintenance of test vehicles, vehicle build and instrumentation as well as brake and tire burnishes.
• Interest in a career in engineering specifically in vehicle dynamics, software development, or automotive component and system design. 
• Desire to perform in-vehicle performance driving.
• Good working knowledge of vehicles.
• Motivated and fast learner of technology.
• Ability to professionally represent Bosch.
• Willing to travel and participate in test sessions if needed.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with test track activities, limit handling of vehicle, and
  above average driving capability, experience with chassis control (ABS, TCS, ESP) and/or powertrain
  technologies highly desired. 

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled with Kettering University, Section B
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
• Minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0
• Must be 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test track activities, including limit handling and performance driving.
• Hands-on experience with chassis control and/or powertrain technologies and their calibration.
• Advanced driving capability, including high-performance or motorsports experience.
• Familiarity with vehicle instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Interest in software development or control algorithm tuning for automotive systems.
