RPA Engineer

As an RPA Engineer within the Test Automation and Robotics team, you will design, build, maintain and support software robots using Automation Anywhere to automate operational and business processes across Avaloq's banking and BPaaS services.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on the execution and delivery of automation solutions. You will work closely with the business analyst team to understand business processes, identify automation opportunities and implement reliable robotic process automation solutions.

Your key tasks

• Develop, test, deploy and maintain software robots using Automation Anywhere or similar software.
• Create reusable automation components and process libraries.
• Support production robots, investigate incidents and implement fixes.
• Monitor robot performance and optimize automation efficiency and stability.
• Collaborate with business analysts to gather and clarify requirements.
• Document automation solutions, exception handling and operational procedures.
• Perform unit testing, system testing and user acceptance testing support.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit and operational standards.

Contribute to the expansion of robotic process automation across Avaloq and client-facing operations.

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or software automation.
• Ideally Hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere development
• Experience automating business processes involving web applications, desktop applications and APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of software development concepts and structured programming.
• Experience with SQL and data validation activities.

It would be a real bonus if you have

• Experience in banking, financial services or wealth management.
• Knowledge of Avaloq processes and operations.
• Experience with REST API integrations.
• Exposure to AI-assisted automation capabilities.

Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
