Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage project quantities, costs, contracts, and commercial activities. The role involves ensuring accurate cost estimation, measurement, valuation, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine quantities and costs.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and expenditures.
• Review contractor quotations, payment applications, and interim valuations.
• Assess variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Conduct site measurements and verify completed works.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and commercial documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Maintain accurate records of quantities, costs, contracts, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and relevant standards.

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management.
• Strong knowledge of construction measurement, BOQ preparation, estimation, and contracts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying/estimating software; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Good analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
