Assistant Facility Security Officer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Assistant Facility Security Officer based in the United States.

This role supports the administration and coordination of industrial security programs and related federal security activities.
You will help manage personnel security clearances, security documentation, training requirements, and compliance processes across multiple organizations and locations.
The position works closely with Human Resources, Contracts, Proposal teams, company security officers, and federal agency representatives.
You will provide guidance to employees, support security onboarding and debriefings, and help investigate and report security incidents.
The role requires strong knowledge of DoD security requirements, NISPOM, personnel suitability processes, and applicable federal regulations.
You will operate independently in a remote environment while managing security activities for a large distributed workforce.
The position also offers an opportunity to grow into an FSO role supporting one or multiple organizations within the broader enterprise.
