Entry-level Transportation Engineer/Planner (2026 and 2027)

These opportunities for personal and professional growth are maximized through exposure to a wide variety of transportation planning, engineering, and design projects, which may include: Transportation planning and analysis: transportation impact studies, bicycle and pedestrian planning, access, circulation and parking studies, multimodal operations, VMT assessments, transportation demand management (TDM), climate action plans, and freight planning. Traffic operations, forecasting, and safety: traffic operations analysis, transit forecasting and operations, travel behavior forecasting, systemic safety studies, and highway interchange and corridor studies. Transportation design: complete streets, bikeways, signing and striping, traffic signals/ITS, street lighting, roundabouts, temporary traffic control, cost estimates, project specifications, and design drawings from concept through construction-ready documents.
