Senior Principal Scientist, Medicinal Chemistry Hyderabad, India | Full-Time YOUR ROLE As a Senior Principal Scientist, Medicinal Chemistry at Enveda, you will independently drive lead optimisation programmes — designing novel molecules, interpreting SAR, and shaping drug discovery strategy across multiple programmes. You will work at the intersection of synthetic chemistry, DMPK, biology, and AI-enabled design while mentoring the next generation of medicinal chemists. Reporting to the Director/AVP of Chemistry, your scientific ownership will directly advance our mission to deliver hope to patients everywhere. WHAT YOU'LL DO Independently design novel molecules, interpret SAR/SPR, and generate design hypotheses to drive lead optimisation programmes Integrate biology, DMPK, and AI insights into compound design; use AI-enabled molecular design tools to accelerate discovery Lead multiple discovery programmes with full scientific ownership and present strategy to cross-functional global teams Mentor junior scientists in medicinal chemistry thinking, scientific communication, and decision-making Ensure compliance with Enveda notebook SOPs, internal IP standards, and database requirements
