• Position Summary
• Role: Caregiver with Giving Hearts Home Care
• Provide non-medical, in-home support to help seniors maintain independence.
• We value caregivers’ dedication, hard work, and compassion and are expanding our team.
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with stand-by care, including bathing and dressing.
• Help with mobility and safe transfers as needed.
• Provide supervision and companionship.
• Offer medication reminders.
• Prepare and serve meals following dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with walks and light exercise.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments; driving may be required.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry, including making beds and changing linens.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• English proficiency required.
• Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Must hold at least one of the following: PCA (Personal Care Aide), HHA (Home Health Aide), or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant).
• Minimum of 2 years caregiving experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered if otherwise qualified and fully authorized to work in the U.S.
• Background Checks & Health Requirements
• Successful completion of a background check and a PPD (tuberculosis) test is mandatory.
• Work Authorization
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide required employment documentation (e.g., Social Security Number) for hiring and payroll.
