The Role

An Engineering Manager in our Lending team will be a core technical and people leader, responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of the systems our client banks use to originate, assess, and service loans from application and decisioning through to repayments, redraw, and arrears. Lending sits at the intersection of complex product mechanics, real customer money, and a demanding regulatory environment. You'll be accountable for building software that is correct by design, auditable, and resilient, while fostering a thriving and motivated engineering team. You'll champion the career advancement of your engineers through regular feedback and mentorship. You'll spearhead the team's technical direction, ensuring that projects are not only aligned with company objectives but also adhere to the highest standards of quality, timely delivery, and best practices.
