POSITION:  Senior Software Engineer REQUISITION: NIN-AE4-17.022425 LOCATION:   Ft. Meade, Maryland

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• The Software Engineer will be heavily involved with the creation, maintenance, and
• running of Pig and or PySpark analytics and is responsible for reviewing data ingested
• tickets and merge requests with other developers on the team.

• Will focus on delivering reliable, accurate data to the end users as well as ensuring that
• day-to-day operations are successful. Including being able to investigate data arriving
• accurately into the system.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong background in analytics development
• Pig
• PySpark

• Python
• Java
• Scala
• NiFi
• Ansible

QUALIFICATIONS:

• CERTIFICATION:  IAT Level 2 certification
• EDUCATION:  Bachelors Degree (NOTE: Degree in computer science or IT computer engineering from an accredited college or university.)
• EXPERIENCE:
• Masters + 6 years
• Bachelors + 8 years
• Associates + 10 years
• No Degree + 12 years
