Ads & Promotions Sales Manager

The Ads & Promotions Manager is responsible for driving Sponsored Listings revenue growth by leading and developing the local Ad Sales team and working closely with Account Management. 

What you’ll be doing

The role owns performance against key country targets, including Venue Penetration, Ad Load, and Sponsored Listings revenue. It translates cluster-level Ads & Promos objectives into clear team and individual goals, ensuring strong execution through coaching, pipeline management, and regular performance tracking. As the key link between frontline Account Managers and the Cluster Ads & Promos Lead, the manager identifies business risks and growth opportunities, supports cross-functional alignment, and builds a high-performing, accountable team.

Day-to-day in this role you’ll:

• Manage and grow a personal portfolio of merchant partners by selling and optimising Sponsored Listings and promotional solutions, while delivering agreed revenue and growth targets.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Ad Sales Specialists, each managing their own portfolio of merchant partners.
• Set clear individual and team goals, monitor progress, and support the team in building strong pipelines and prioritising the highest-potential opportunities.
• Balance hands-on sales execution in the personal portfolio with effective people management, coaching, and removing blockers for the team.
• Partner closely with the Account Management team to improve adoption and performance of Ads & Promotions across their merchant portfolios.
• Provide Account Managers with practical training, sales materials, and support on more complex merchant cases to help them confidently recommend the right advertising and promotional solutions.
• Track Account Management performance in Ads & Promotions, identify gaps and growth opportunities, and work with Account Management Leads on targeted action plans.
• Monitor performance against country targets, identify risks early, and implement actions to improve results, including acquisition of new advertising partners, budget growth, and churn prevention.
• Present team performance, key insights, risks, and action plans in regular business reviews to the Cluster Ads & Promos Lead.
• Foster a high-performing and accountable team culture by recognising strong performance, supporting development, and proactively addressing retention or coverage risks.
• Proactively create and lead local initiatives that drive Ads & Promotions performance, while also effectively implementing global projects and strategies in the Polish market.

Our humble expectations

• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience
• Proven experience in managing at least 2–3 projects simultaneously
• Prior team leadership/mentorship experience would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse and interpret data to inform decisions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in Polish and English
