Senior Account Executive

About the Role

We're looking for a highly motivated and creative Enterprise Account Executive to help accelerate our growth across the Mexico market. This is a true hunter role that combines strategic outbound prospecting with full-cycle enterprise SaaS sales.

You'll be responsible for identifying and engaging new prospects, creating qualified opportunities through outbound efforts, and leading the entire sales process—from first outreach through contract signature. You'll partner closely with Solution Engineers, Marketing and Global teams to help leading retailers, brands, manufacturers, and distributors modernize their digital commerce operations with VTEX.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building pipelines from scratch, thrives in consultative enterprise sales, and is passionate about helping customers solve complex business challenges through technology.

What you will do

• Own the complete sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Proactively identify, research, and engage target enterprise accounts through outbound channels including email, phone, LinkedIn, networking, and events.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with revenue targets.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand customers' business priorities, digital commerce strategies, and technical environments.
• Deliver compelling value-based presentations alongside Solution Engineers.
• Build executive-level relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
• Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers across enterprise organizations.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing on campaigns, events, and account-based initiatives.
• Partner with Commerce Engineers and Solution Architects to ensure smooth customer handoffs after contract signature.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and CRM updates.
• Stay current on the digital commerce landscape, competitive positioning, and VTEX product innovations.
• Leverage AI to facilitate your daily work 

Who you are

• You are based in Mexico city, and willing to attend the office 4 days per week.
• You have extensive experience in Enterprise B2B SaaS sales.
• You have demonstrated success generating your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, not solely relying on inbound leads.
• You have experience selling Digital Commerce SaaS, ERP, Marketing Technology, OMS, Marketplace, or similar enterprise software solutions.
• You consistently exceed quota and thrive in high-growth environments.
• You are comfortable engaging VP and C-level executives.
• You are consultative, curious, and able to uncover complex business needs.
• You possess strong negotiation, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• You are highly organized and disciplined in pipeline management and forecasting.
• Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, or similar sales technologies is preferred.
• Experience selling into Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, or Distribution is a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.
• AI mindsight and willingness to keep learning.
