The opportunity

We are seeking an Adobe AJO (Adobe Journey Optimizer) Engineer with 4-6 years of specialized hands-on experience and 6+ years overall in application development. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in building customer journeys, campaign development, platform support, and integrating Adobe Journey Optimizer with other Adobe Experience Cloud products. Responsibilities include solution design, troubleshooting, workflow optimization, and enabling scalable, insight-driven omnichannel customer engagement.

What you’ll be doing

  • Design, configure, and optimize customer journeys in Adobe Journey Optimizer
  • Build and manage omnichannel campaigns across email, mobile, and web experiences.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, decisioning rules, and real-time customer profiles.
  • Integrate AJO with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and other Adobe Experience Cloud tools.
  • Troubleshoot platform, workflow, and integration issues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, insight-driven solutions.
  • Optimize campaign performance through data-driven analysis.
  • Maintain documentation, operational playbooks, and best practices.

What we want from you

  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer.
  • 6+ years overall experience in application development or martech engineering.
  • Strong understanding of customer journey orchestration and real-time customer data.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), schemas, segments, and datasets.
  • Proficiency in API integrations and cross-platform data flows.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
