Associate Manufacturing Engineer

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to support hands-on Manufacturing and Functional QC activities for our diagnostic manufacturing operations. This onsite role is designed for a detail-oriented early-career professional who can execute routine laboratory and manufacturing tasks according to approved procedures, maintain accurate records, and support reliable day-to-day operational readiness. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a regulated environment where traceability and documentation quality are essential.

Primary Focus:

Hands-on execution of routine Manufacturing and FQC activities in accordance with approved procedures.

How you’ll contribute:

• Execute routine Manufacturing and FQC operations according to approved procedures and instructions.
• Perform sample preparation, testing, reagent preparation, aliquoting, and other assigned operational activities.
• Complete batch records, worksheets, and associated records accurately and contemporaneously.
• Perform required equipment, workstation, and material setup activities.
• Verify required materials, reagents, and consumables before beginning operations.
• Maintain appropriate sample, material, reagent, and product identification and traceability.
• Identify and promptly escalate deviations, unexpected results, documentation discrepancies, material issues, or equipment problems.
• Support inventory management, operational readiness, and general Manufacturing activities as required.
• Maintain required qualifications and cross-training across assigned Manufacturing and FQC processes.
• Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory and manufacturing equipment in accordance with approved procedures and assigned schedules.
• Follow biosafety, chemical safety, PPE, GDP, GMP, and QMS requirements at all times.
• Communicate task status, delays, and issues clearly and contribute to a respectful, team-oriented work environment.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing, laboratory operations, QC, process engineering, or a related environment; relevant internship or academic laboratory experience may be considered.
• Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques, pipetting/liquid handling, reagent preparation, sample handling, and controlled documentation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures, schedules, and instructions accurately.
• Comfort working with laboratory/manufacturing equipment and maintaining clear identification and traceability of samples and materials.
• Ability to recognize and promptly escalate deviations, unexpected results, documentation issues, and equipment/material concerns.
• Reliable, organized, safety-conscious, and committed to continuous learning and cross-training.
• Effective communication, teamwork, time-management, and basic problem-solving skills.
