About the Opportunity & Team

This role sits within our Commercial Sales team in Milan, reporting directly to the Head of agencies. Following our continued scaling phases, the team is responsible for driving Teads’ advertiser-first and agency commercial strategy across the Italian market. You will collaborate daily with cross-functional teams, including Demand Operations, Studio, Client Services, and Product, to deliver innovative digital ad solutions for top-tier agencies and brands.

As a Senior Sales manager, you will own the commercial growth of key agencyt accounts in Italy, turning strategic market opportunities into long-term commercial partnerships.

About the Role

Core Mission: Act as a strategic commercial partner to deliver ambitious revenue targets across your portfolio of media agency partners
Team Alignment: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Demand Ops, Studio, Client Services) to translate high-level client business goals into operational ad solutions.
Scope of Ownership: Take full accountability for managing and expanding our agency relationship ecosystem, driving adoption of Teads’ omnichannel programmatic and creative formats.
Impact Metric: Success in this role means achieving revenue and market-share targets over the next 12 months while expanding long-term strategic agency partnerships.

What You’ll Bring

Strategy & Commercial Growth

Architect and execute tailored, consultative sales strategies for major agency
Identify new business bottlenecks and incremental revenue opportunities, introducing Teads’ programmatic, data, and creative solutions to solve complex client marketing KPIs.

Execution & Pipeline Ownership

Own your sales pipeline end-to-end in Salesforce, ensuring revenue accuracy, timely forecasting, and consistent delivery against quarterly commercial goals.
Negotiate commercial agreements, trading frameworks, and campaign commits to maximize margin and market share.
Review and analyze market performance data and RFPs to optimize client pitch strategies and win high-value business.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

Cultivate trusted,advisory relationships with key agency planner across the Italian advertising landscape.
Orchestrate internal cross-functional support (Studio, Client Services, Analytics) to ensure seamless pre-sale strategy and post-sale campaign execution.

What Will You Bring to the Team?

Must-Haves (The Baseline Bar)

Core Experience: Significant experience (5+ years) driving digital media sales or AdTech solutions within a media agency or publisher environment.
Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of programmatic buying, video/display advertising, data-driven solutions, and agency ecosystem dynamics in Italy.
Communication: Business fluency in Italian and professional fluency in English to collaborate across local and global teams.
Location/Legalities: Full right to work in Italy without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-Haves (The Performance Multiplier)

An active, established network across leading Italian media agency groups (e.g., WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, IPG, Dentsu, Havas)
Proven track record of selling complex, multi-format media strategies (CTVs, Performance, Cookieless data, or Creative Studio integration).

Bonus Points

You uniquely combine programmatic AdTech knowledge with creative, narrative-driven sales strategies.
You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and driving business growth through market shifts and product evolution.
