Marketing Lead, UK (Contract)

This role operates on a hybrid schedule requiring two days of in-office collaboration per week in our London office (Soho). This is a mat leave coverage contract that we expect to go for 8 to 9 months in duration. 

About the Role

Join our team as a Marketing Lead and play a key role in driving Taskrabbit's growth across the UK market. This role combines ownership of the UK's go to market strategy with hands-on execution - from local activations and metro-level initiatives to partnerships. It's ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments, is equally comfortable with data and with people, and is passionate about growing a two-sided marketplace.

This role reports to the UK Senior Country Manager, working closely with central Marketing Channel Leads, Tasker Operations, Product and other global teams.

The Marketing Lead executes on the country-level top-of-funnel commercial and marketing strategy - determining where to focus to hit revenue targets by building a locally relevant plan across marketing and partnerships channels, and driving independent go-to-market initiatives with a dedicated local budget.

What You'll Work On

• Own the UK's top-of-funnel marketing strategy across paid, owned, and earned channels - setting country-level priorities, translating growth targets into a locally relevant plan, and driving independent GTM initiatives with a dedicated local budget.
• Partner with central Channel Leads (SEM, SEO, CRM, Social, PR, Partner Marketing) to adapt global strategy and assets for the UK market, providing timely local inputs so central teams can execute without delay
• Conduct market analysis to understand local dynamics, competitive landscape, and tasker/client behaviour, translating insights into opportunities that sharpen commercial strategy and metro-level priorities
• Partner with the UK Senior Country Manager to develop and execute local go to market initiatives that drive demand and client retention
• Orchestrate large-scale metro activations and brand moments in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Support Tasker Operations with strategic development and execution of supply-side initiatives

Your Areas of Expertise

• 5+ years in marketing, strategy, operations, or marketplace roles
• Analytical skill set; comfortable applying funnel optimisation, LTV/CAC metrics, and supply/demand modelling to real-world decisions.
• Experience building and implementing repeatable go-to-market strategies, local activations, and brand moments.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and large groups, and managing external partners/agencies.
• Comfortable working heavily with data and operating at pace in an entrepreneurial, fast-changing environment; startup or marketplace platform experience a plus.
• Willingness to engage with tasker/supply-side operations (e.g. seasonal supply planning) in addition to demand-side marketing.
• Comfortable working autonomously while coordinating across central and local, cross-functional teams (marketing, brand, PR, partnerships, Tasker Success).

Compensation & Benefits: 

At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent, and equitable. Total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.

The base pay range for this position is £59,000 - £85,000 This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
