We're looking for a Regional Manager to lead our Field Sales business across Central Italy. This is not a traditional desk-based leadership role. We're looking for someone who understands field sales firsthand, knows how to build and scale territories, and can develop high-performing sales leaders and teams in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
You will lead a team of Territory Managers across multiple hubs, driving commercial performance, operational excellence, and sustainable growth throughout one of SumUp's most strategic regions.
Lead, coach and develop Territory Managers across Central Italy
Drive Net Revenue, Out of Box (OOB) performance and regional growth
Support the expansion and scaling of existing sales hubs
Identify new territory opportunities and recommend territory splits where appropriate
Improve execution, structure and performance across the region
Partner with senior leadership on regional strategy and business planning
Build and maintain a strong high-performance culture
Support and develop self-employed Field Sales Consultants and local sales teams
Monitor key performance metrics and implement action plans to drive results
Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across hubs
You have significant experience in field sales leadership
You have experience managing managers and larger sales organisations
You have experience within Merchant Services, POS, FinTech, Payments or SMB sales environments
You are a strong coach who can inspire, develop and challenge people
You combine commercial instinct with analytical thinking
You are comfortable leading geographically dispersed teams
You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
You demonstrate strong ownership, accountability and execution
You thrive in fast-moving, performance-driven environments
