Senior UI/UX Designer

The Role  

We’re looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our College Pads team in Hyderabad, India. 

This is not a typical design role. It’s a role with ownership, real impact and high visibility. You will be initially optimising the current College Pads platform and in the future transition to working on a AI first new platform. You’ll partmer closely with Product and Engineering to experiment to learn fast, and iterate optimising user journeys for outstanding user experience and lead conversion. 

You’ll take ownership of high-impact product design challenges, shaping lead-based user journeys and complex operational systems into intuitive, accessible experiences used by students and administrators around the world.  This is a high-ownership senior independent contributor role: you’ll influence product direction within your domain, elevate design quality across initiatives, and help mature a growing global design practice. 

We’re looking for a designer with strong experience in B2B2C products, ideally in lead-based environments where acquisition, conversion, engagement, and monetization are tightly connected. You bring deep strength in UX research and experimentation, and you use data, customer insight, and sound judgment to shape solutions. You’re curious about AI and emerging tools, however grounded in a problem-first mindset and thoughtful about when they create real value. 

 What You Will Own 

• Drive outcomes, not just outputs: Design with a focus on acquisition, conversion, and engagement measuring success through real usage and impact 

• Turn complexity into clarity: Shape multi-sided experiences (students, universities, property managers) into simple, intuitive journeys 

• Work fast and iteratively: Prototype, test, ship, and refine in tight cycles with direct user feedback 

• Lead through discovery: Engage users continuously, define problems clearly, and validate solutions with evidence  

• Operate AI-first: Use AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, and execution while staying grounded in real user problems 

• Raise the bar: improve design quality, and contribute to a growing India and global design practice 

Required Qualifications 

• 5+ years designing complex digital products B2B2C or B2C 

• Experience in conversion-focused products, lead-gen or marketplaces 

• Experience in experimentation and A/B testing 

• Strong UX fundamentals across flows, systems, and interaction design 

• Comfortable working in lean, fast-paced teams with high ownership 

• Strong collaboration with Product & Engineering 

• Clear communicator who can explain decisions and influence direction 

• Experience with accessibility (WCAG) 

• A mindset focused on outcomes, not just deliverables 

• Proven ability to deliver measurable user experience improvements 

 Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in ILS or property listing sites 
• Background in scale-ups or high-growth environments 
• Experience using AI in design workflows or product experiences
