About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Engineer – Quality to support our Quality Control and customer quality functions in an electronic component’s distribution environment.

The candidate will be responsible for electronic component inspection, inspection report preparation, customer complaint handling, quality documentation, and day-to-day support to the QC team. The role requires good attention to detail, basic technical knowledge of electronic components, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming electronic components and materials as per defined quality/inspection procedures.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection Reports, Quality Reports, and inspection records.
• Record inspection findings accurately and highlight non-conformities to the QC/Quality team.
• Support investigation and resolution of customer complaints related to product quality, damage, marking, packaging, or specification issues.
• Coordinate with Sales, Stores, Purchase, Suppliers, and QC teams for customer complaint resolution.
• Assist in preparing Customer Complaint Reports, Corrective Action Reports, and supporting documentation.
• Support the QC team in incoming inspection, material verification, sampling, and quality checks.
• Maintain quality records, inspection documents, photographs, test results, and other relevant documentation.
• Administrative projects as needed by management for supporting local operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / E&C Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in Quality, QC, inspection, electronic components, manufacturing, trading, or distribution.
• Basic understanding of electronic components such as ICs, resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, connectors, etc.
• Good understanding of basic inspection and quality control practices.
• Ability to read and understand datasheets, specifications, part numbers, markings, and drawings.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and basic documentation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Good coordination and follow-up skills.
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate inspection and quality reports.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in electronic component inspection or quality control will be preferred.
• Familiarity with customer complaint handling and Root Cause / Corrective Action processes.
• Knowledge of basic quality tools such as 5 Why,8D, CAPA, etc. will be an advantage.
• Experience working in an electronic component distribution or trading company will be an added advantage.
