Keystone is a premier economics, technology, and strategy consulting firm built to help companies lead through transformation. As breakthrough innovations reshape industries, redefine competition and change our society, complex and highly competitive ecosystems emerge. Keystone advises technology leaders, Fortune 100 companies, their legal counsel, and governments on business, economic, litigation, and regulatory strategy in relation to these innovations and competitive eco-systems. We operate globally from offices in New York City, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, London, Dubai, and Washington, D.C.
About the Staff Editor Role
Keystone seeks a seasoned writer and journalistic thinker with social media chops to kick-start a storytelling initiative—one that will amplify Keystone’s work and impact, as well as the stories behind it, to clients and the public.
The staff editor’s job is to get inside the world of Keystone as if it were a journalistic embed: To understand what the company does, the types of cases it works on (often, these are related to AI, antitrust, or other complex business issues), who its key players are (the company works with a variety of world-renowned experts, including economists and policy thinkers) and to see storytelling opportunities at every turn.
That might mean interviewing a Harvard economist who testified in a world-changing antitrust case in the morning, sitting in on a podcast recording with a happiness psychologist in the afternoon (and coming up with a social strategy for the episode), and accompanying the CEO to a benefit dinner at night, then writing a LinkedIn post about it. It might mean offering guidance on short-form video or occasionally producing that video yourself. The goal is to produce a regular weekly cadence of original, short-form editorial and social media content that showcases what’s happening inside Keystone, to amplify the company’s vast network of experts, and to highlight industry trends. The content will live on some combination of Keystone’s primary outlets: LinkedIn, its newsletters, its website and soon-to-launch podcast.
