Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Head of Rental & Leasing who will own the end-to-end commercial success of Geotab's Rental and Leasing segment across Car Rental and Leasing, Truck Rental and Leasing, and Equipment Rental. This leader will build segment expertise, shape product strategy, package Geotab's solutions for a distinct customer base, and drive go-to-market execution through Geotab's partner channels. What you'll do:

As the Head of Rental & Leasing, your key area of responsibility will be defining and executing the product, go-to-market, and commercial strategy for Geotab's Rental and Leasing segment. You will develop a focused roadmap, make principled build, buy, and partner decisions, and expand market share, pipeline, revenue retention, and commercial outcomes across the segment's three primary sub-segments. You will also lead annual planning for product strategy, roadmap, headcount, budget, and OKR input, while tracking performance and surfacing risks and opportunities to board leadership.

You will need to work closely with customers, industry associations, channel partners, Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Global Enablement, and product domain teams. You will serve as the authoritative voice of the segment within Geotab's global product organization, ensuring that specialized customer needs and market dynamics are reflected in product planning and solution roadmaps. You will also lead a cross-functional team of product managers, developers, designers, and other specialists, providing coaching, mentorship, career development, and performance support.

To be successful in this role you will be a commercially minded, customer-obsessed, and strategic leader with excellent written, verbal, and bilingual communication skills. You will be comfortable leading through influence, building credibility with senior stakeholders, and navigating change across a diverse channel ecosystem. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong product development, go-to-market, partner management, analytical, and business planning skills, with the ability to translate market insight into measurable growth, adoption, retention, and market share outcomes. You will be able to use data to guide decisions, manage competing priorities, and redesign workflows around AI to improve efficiency.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Own the product, go-to-market strategy, roadmap, and execution for Geotab's Rental and Leasing segment, with accountability for market share, pipeline growth, revenue retention, and commercial performance.
  • Develop and maintain deep expertise across Car Rental and Leasing, Truck Rental and Leasing, and Equipment Rental, translating operator needs and adoption drivers into differentiated product strategy, positioning, and packaging.
  • Build trusted relationships with enterprise operators, customers, industry associations, channel partners, and sales teams to establish feedback loops and strengthen Geotab's market credibility.
  • Make principled build, buy, and partner decisions by leveraging Geotab's platform, solution building blocks, and Marketplace ecosystem wherever possible.
  • Serve as the authoritative advocate for rental and leasing customers across product domains, identifying capability gaps and coordinating roadmap, enablement, and solution development.
  • Lead a coordinated cross-channel go-to-market motion with Marketing, Business Development, Solutions Engineering, Global Enablement, Sales, and external partners.
  • Build and develop a high-trust, high-accountability cross-functional team while leading annual planning, investment prioritization, KPI reporting, and change adoption.
What you'll bring to the role:
  • 10+ years of experience in a product or go-to-market role within the rental and leasing, fleet management, or commercial vehicle industry, including 3+ years with accountability for revenue or commercial outcomes and product development responsibilities.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including experience leading product development teams and 3+ years working with senior leadership in cross-functional commercial or product roles.
  • Deep knowledge of vehicle rental and leasing business models, fleet management practices, telematics adoption patterns, and customer pain points across car rental, truck leasing, and equipment rental.
  • Strong commercial, product development, go-to-market, partner management, and market development acumen, with the ability to build relationships and drive market share growth.
  • Proven ability to lead across functions and influence without direct authority, partnering effectively with Product, Development, Design, Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Enablement teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, written and verbal communication, analytical, and business planning skills, including experience defining and tracking revenue metrics, commercial KPIs, and market share indicators.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience; relevant fleet management, automotive, commercial vehicle, or general management certifications are an asset.
