Impact In This Role

The Facilities Operations Manager is a key contributor to building a safe, functional, and well-run workplace within the GCC — overseeing and executing programs across facility maintenance, vendor management, and workplace safety compliance. The role also assists with day-to-day office operations, helping with space planning, employee workplace requests, and general operations tasks. You will connect day-to-day facility workflows with longer-term operational priorities, contributing to a well-run and people-centered GCC.

What You’ll Be Doing

Areas of Responsibility:

• Workplace Operations: Own end-to-end daily office operations including housekeeping, pantry, maintenance, and security. Lead seating allocation strategy, office moves, and overall upkeep of the Bengaluru GCC facility through proactive inspections, preventive planning, and hands-on vendor management.
• Vendor Management: Lead sourcing, negotiation, and management of service contracts (catering, cleaning, transport, AC, and others). Manage the facilities budgets — tracking, and reporting spend — while ensuring invoice processing and documentation meet finance and compliance standards.
• Employee & Visitor Experience: Drive transport and logistics planning for employees and visiting colleagues. Partner closely with HR to design and deliver team events, wellness initiatives, and onboarding/offboarding logistics that reflect a strong employee experience.
• Safety & Compliance: Own workplace safety protocols, statutory compliance, and preventive maintenance planning end to end. Serve as the primary point of contact and decision-maker during emergencies, ensuring readiness and rapid response.
• Planning & Reporting: Define and monitor facilities KPIs, drive process improvement initiatives, and lead forecasting for future space and service needs in line with GCC growth plans.
• General Administration: Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring documentation, scheduling, and internal coordination run efficiently across the facilities function.

• Good English communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information clearly to employees, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Ability to understand and speak multiple languages — English, Kannada, Hindi, and any other regional languages (Telugu/Tamil) is a plus.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.
• Comfortable working across multiple time zones and hybrid setups.
• Experience supporting scaling teams or dynamic office environments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate-level education in any field; a background with an administrative or business management focus is preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in office facilities, workplace services, or REWS (Real Estate & Workplace Services) support, ideally with exposure to North America shift timings (night shift).
• Familiarity with workplace safety norms, statutory compliance, and basic procurement processes.
• Proficiency in Google Docs and Google Sheets, ticketing systems, and facility management tools.
• Prior exposure to facilities management within a corporate setting.
• Bonus: Experience setting up an office from scratch.
• Bonus: Exposure to ISO processes.
