JOB PURPOSE

We’re looking for a senior commercial leader to help accelerate the growth of our Media business in Denmark. As Head of Growth, Media, you will be responsible for building a strong and sustainable commercial pipeline for our Media proposition, converting new business opportunities into long-term client relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand our work with existing clients.

But this role is about more than hitting a sales target. You will be one of the key faces of DEPT® in the Danish market: someone who knows the industry, has a strong point of view on where digital media is heading, and enjoys building relationships with ambitious brands and industry leaders.

Together with our Head of Clients and Head of Growth, Experience, you will form the commercial leadership team for Denmark, working across disciplines to grow DEPT® as one integrated agency rather than a collection of individual capabilities.

You will lead the Media Growth team in Denmark and report to the VP Growth, Benelux & Nordics.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own and grow the new business pipeline for DEPT®’s Media business in Denmark;
• Identify, develop and convert opportunities with ambitious Danish based brands;
• Lead major Media pitches from first conversation through to conversion;
• Build senior relationships with prospective clients and become a trusted advisor;
• Identify growth opportunities within our existing client portfolio and turn them into actionable account growth plans;
• Look beyond Media alone, connecting client challenges to DEPT® capabilities across Creative, Experience, Commerce, CRM, Data & AI and Technology;
• Work closely with the Head of Clients and Head of Growth, Experience to drive one commercial agenda for Denmark;
• Lead, coach and develop the Danish Media Growth team;
• Build strong relationships with our media partners, platforms and the wider Danish marketing ecosystem;
• Represent DEPT® externally at industry events, client sessions, roundtables and other relevant forums;
• Bring market intelligence back into the organisation and help sharpen our proposition based on what clients need next;
• Roll up your sleeves when needed. This is a senior leadership role, but definitely not one where you only manage from the sidelines.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone who combines a strong commercial track record with credibility in the Danish media market. Someone who knows how to open doors, but more importantly knows what to do once they are open.

• Have significant experience in new business, growth or commercial leadership within a digital media or integrated agency environment;
• Have a strong network within the Copenhagen media, marketing and advertising ecosystem;
• Have a proven track record of building pipelines and converting significant pitches into long-term client relationships;
• Understand modern digital media deeply and can have credible conversations with senior marketing leaders about how media can drive business growth;
• Think about client growth first and internal organisational structures second. You naturally connect Media with Creative, Experience, CRM, Commerce, Data & AI and Technology when that creates a better answer;
• Are an approachable and collaborative leader who brings people together, both internally and externally;
• Have an entrepreneurial and pragmatic mindset: you see opportunities, create momentum and like getting things done;
• Are comfortable being one of the public faces of DEPT® in Denmark and genuinely enjoy being in front of clients, teams and audiences;
• Can operate at C-level while remaining close enough to the work to help teams turn opportunities into compelling propositions;
• Are comfortable working across countries, disciplines and teams in an international organisation;
• Have experience selling Creative and/or Experience services alongside Media — a significant plus;
• Have clear ideas about how agencies can help clients grow and the energy to turn those ideas into action.
