Description:

Coupang Taiwan is looking for an experienced and strategic Director of BOT Program

Management to lead and optimize our BOT (build-operate-transfer). You will be responsible to plan, execute, manage resources and activities to achieve on-time delivery of Coupang's new FCs (Fulfillment Centers) construction projects, as part of Taiwan fulfillment expansion.

This is a position in Taipei, Taiwan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects based on business requirements.
• Analyze requirements of a project, establish overall execution plan and check progress.
• Achieve delivery target of a project by adjusting and comprehensively managing schedule with relevant stakeholders and vendors with given resources.
• Plan, control, and manage schedule and progress of all tasks of a project.
• Achieve target delivery by utilizing schedule management tool to shorten timeline of complicated items.
• Plan budget and manage cost including project cost estimation, budget allocation, etc.
• Comply with government rules and Coupang's internal rules to secure planned FC performance.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve potential issues arising in the process of project execution.
• Minimize risks and lead problem-solving when an issue arises.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology adoption to streamline operations.
• Monitor key performance metrics, analyze data, and provide insights to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Oversee risk management and develop contingency plans to address disruption
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to adapt the supply chain strategy accordingly.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Experience leading multiple projects (construction, automation facility, etc.)
• Proven track record in achieving a process improvement (for example FC process, Logistics in a plant etc.), with a recent leadership role.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, Logistics, and distribution
• Demonstrated experience in driving process improvement initiatives and leveraging technology to optimize supply chain operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a customer-centric mindset.
• Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
