Role Overview  

Senior Construction Engineer (Electrical)

What You Will Do 

• Review electrical designs for logistics centers, including appropriate specifications, electrical system capacity, and code compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and verification, including the review of major electrical equipment specifications (e.g., switchgear and distribution panels), inspection of electrical installations, and preparation of punch lists.
• Manage electrical-related issues, including developing improvement plans for power capacity shortages and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Establish electrical specification standards for prospective logistics warehouse lease properties.
• Manage electrical engineering aspects of new logistics warehouse development projects.
• Provide engineering support for operational issues related to the maintenance and upkeep of logistics warehouses.
• Perform electrical and fire alarm/electrical fire protection-related due diligence (physical inspections).

Basic Qualifications  

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a related field (construction, design, construction management (CM), etc.).
• Knowledge of electrical systems and facilities in commercial or industrial buildings.
• Ability to manage and supervise specialized electrical contractors and vendors.
• Strong understanding of construction management processes and practices.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
