HR Business Partner

Position Overview:

The HR Business Partner will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer and will partner with leaders of the firm to help drive business strategy from an HR perspective. This multifaceted role will support several aspects of the employee experience, including but not limited to talent management, performance evaluation, learning and organizational development, succession planning, and employee relations.

The HR Business Partner will develop strong relationships with managers and individual contributors to support and increase the effectiveness of Acadian’s employees.  The culture of Acadian is team oriented and entrepreneurial, and the firm strives to hire individuals who are creative, technically competent and who want to add value to the firm’s evolving business strategy. The position will also support organizational development by managing the design, sourcing, development, delivery, and evaluation of learning and professional development programs. 

Acadian supports a hybrid work environment; employees are on-site in the Boston office 3 days a week.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain partnering relationships with managers and employees to effectively achieve business results.
• Coach, consult and influence managers and employees on a variety of HR issues.
• Develop a deep understanding of supported business functions to be able to translate their business plans into HR/people-oriented strategic and operational plans.
• Lead initiatives to design and implement technology solutions to manage HR information.
• Take an active role in team initiatives to help support and drive forward HR strategy for the firm.

We’re Looking for Teammates With:

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 10+ years of prior experience in a human resources generalist or business partner role; Financial services industry experience is preferred.

The base salary range for this role is $180,000 – $225,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and relevant experience. In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation and includes participation in Acadian’s comprehensive benefits program, which includes health, retirement, and wellness offerings.
