Software Engineer, New Grad – Gem.com
Gem is building the future of recruiting technology, and we’re looking for passionate new grads to join our engineering team. As a Software Engineer at Gem, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and designers to ship impactful features, solve real customer problems, and grow your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improvements
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team stand-ups
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code
- Learn and grow through mentorship, feedback, and hands-on experience
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (graduating in 2025)
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software design
- Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, or Go)
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and take on challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bonus Points:
- Internship or project experience in web development or SaaS
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Interest in recruitment technology or building AI-powered tools
