What they are looking for
They are seeking a hands-on lead system engineering lead to join a tight-knit team, supporting the Director of IT. You will be administering their Microsoft product suite, MDM, endpoint management, threat monitoring, event triage, and raising the security posture of our staff through awareness and training. You will be in a collaborative, ego-free environment with minimal bureaucracy and a culture where neighbors help neighbors.
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in systems engineering experience with a focus on cybersecurity
- Microsoft expertise - Exchange, Entra ID, Purview, and DLP
- Experience with threat and endpoint monitoring - CrowdStrike and Darktrace
- Strong PowerShell and command-line proficiency
- Local to the Los Angeles area with reliable transportation
- Able to work onsite 4 to 5 days per week
Preferred qualifications
- Fortinet network configuration experience
- Jamf or comparable MDM
- Relevant industry certifications or formal education in IT/cybersecurity

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $90,000 – $180,000 per year.
