A client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, documentation, and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC products. This role will work closely with production, engineering, sales, and customers to ensure electrical systems are designed, documented, and supported effectively throughout the product lifecycle. This is a full-time position on-site in Athens, TX.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience; 10–15 years preferred.
Proven experience in electrical design, troubleshooting, and product support.
Experience creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Experience programming and developing controllers or embedded control systems.
Strong understanding of electrical components, power distribution, wiring practices, and heating element applications.
Knowledge of UL, ETL, and electrical safety standards.
Ability to independently troubleshoot complex electrical systems and identify root causes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience within the commercial HVAC, industrial equipment, or manufacturing industries.
Familiarity with LabVIEW programming and testing environments.
Experience using CAD software for electrical design and documentation.
Experience supporting production environments and manufacturing operations.
Customer-facing technical support experience.
Experience working with electrical testing equipment and validation processes.
