Noïa Labs is an early-stage neurotechnology company building the next generation of human-AI interfaces.

We're tackling one of the most ambitious problems in human-AI interaction: decoding human intent directly from brain signals, in real time and without surgery, to control and collaborate with AI systems.

Our approach combines optimized neural sensors with large-scale AI models trained across many users, a technical challenge that sits at the intersection of neurotechnologies and frontier AI.

Founded by the team behind NextMind (acquired by Snap) and backed by tier-1 investors, Noïa Labs is starting its journey and hiring a team of outstanding engineers and scientists where each person will have a major impact on the product and technology.

Your Mission

You will be creating the software layer of a non-invasive neural interface, by building the applications, services, and real-time pipelines that connect our devices, neural data, and ML models.

This is a hands-on role for someone who moves quickly across the stack, ships end-to-end, and cares about quality.

You’ll own the backend APIs, data interfaces, model integration, and internal tooling, working closely with ML engineers, neuroscientists, and product teams.

What you’ll do:

• Design and build full-stack applications that connect neural signals, AI models, and user interactions in real time

• Create the interfaces and internal tools that power how our teams collect data, train models, and iterate on product

• Architect the backend layer services, APIs, device integrations, neural decoders, databases

• Build agentic infrastructure from the ground up: tool use, memory, retrieval, context, and state management for AI systems

• Improve system reliability, performance, observability, and user experience

• Work with ML and neuroscience teams to turn prototypes into product features

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years building and shipping software in a full-stack, backend-leaning role

• A track record of owning features end-to-end.

• Strong backend fundamentals: APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure

• Solid grasp of software architecture, with a care for reliability, performance, and security.

• High ownership, good product instincts, autonomy, leadership and decision making skills.
