The Role

This sits within the Legal Engineering team, focused on real estate workflows.

You’ll take the way property transactions actually work. The documents, the deal structures, the time pressure and turn them into scalable, AI-powered systems.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and client-facing teams, using real-world workflows to design, build, and iterate on how legal work gets done inside Legora.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design and build legal workflows

• Translate real estate transaction processes (e.g. title review, lease abstraction, diligence) into structured, reusable workflows that can be automated and scaled.

Turn legal work into systems

• Break down complex, document-heavy processes into components, patterns, and logic that can be embedded into the product.

Shape the product

• Work closely with Product and Engineering to define requirements, test solutions, and iterate based on real usage.

Embed with real use cases

• Engage directly with clients and internal teams to understand live transactions and ensure workflows reflect how work is actually done.

Drive adoption through better design

• Support pilots, onboarding, and rollout; ensuring what’s built is valuable, and adopted in practice.

Build reusable playbooks

• Create templates, workflows, and best practices for real estate use cases that can be deployed across clients globally.
  

What You Bring

• Experience in real estate law, at a top-tier firm, in-house team

• Direct exposure to transaction execution (e.g. acquisitions, disposals, financing, or leasing)

• Strong understanding of document-heavy diligence, drafting workflows, and deal timelines

• Ability to break down complex legal processes into structured, repeatable components

• Experience or demonstrated interest in legal tech, automation, or process improvement

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You

• Are a qualified solicitor (1–3 PQE) with real estate, property finance, or construction experience

• Think in systems, you naturally look for structure, patterns, and ways to scale how work gets done

• Can translate between legal, product, and engineering contexts

• Are comfortable with ambiguity and take ownership of building solutions

• Communicate clearly and structure problems effectively

• Have a bias toward action, you build, test, and iterate quickly
