Latent is the enterprise pharmacy intelligence platform. Our clinical AI streamlines prior authorizations, appeals, and 340B compliance, so patients start therapy faster and care teams spend less time on paperwork.

We raised an $80M Series A led by Spark Capital and Transformation Capital, with General Catalyst, McKesson Ventures, Conviction, and Y Combinator. We're a small, mission-driven team backed by top investors, working on some of healthcare's hardest problems. 60+ health systems run on Latent, including Yale New Haven, Mount Sinai, UCSF, and Ochsner.

We move fast, operate with high ownership, and build products that directly improve patient care. We're looking for a Product Designer to shape the next generation of clinical AI products powering healthcare.

The Role

We're building the design function at Latent, and we're looking for a Product Designer to shape the next generation of clinical AI products. You'll join a growing design team and own design end to end, from early problem framing through shipped product. You'll work directly with engineering, product, and customers to make complex clinical workflows feel simple.

What You'll Do

Product Design & Ownership

• Own the full design process from discovery through delivery for core product areas

• Make smart tradeoffs between speed and polish to keep shipping without sacrificing craft

Enterprise & Workflow Design

• Design complex, multi-user workflows for clinical and operational teams at large health systems

• Translate dense healthcare processes into clear, intuitive product experiences

• Handle edge cases, permissions, and system states that come with enterprise software

Discovery & Customer Insight

• Work directly with healthcare customers to understand clinical workflows and pain points

• Turn ambiguous problems into clear product direction

• Balance user needs with long-term product vision

Design Foundations

• Establish design standards and processes that grow with the team

• Partner closely with engineering on implementation quality and handoffs

What We're Looking For

• Enterprise experience: You've designed complex workflows, multi-user systems, and operationally dense software, and you know how to make powerful tools feel simple

• End-to-end ownership: You've built products from scratch and defined what to build, not just designed within existing patterns

• Self-Directed: Comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive from problem to shipped product without heavy process or hand-holding

• Fast and high craft: You ship quickly, know where to cut scope, and know where to hold the line on quality

• Product thinking: You care about what we build and why, and have opinions about product direction, not just UI

• Collaboration: You work well across engineering, product, and GTM, and can explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Startup Mindset: Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments — adaptable, high-ownership, and able to maintain momentum through change

Nice to Have

• Interest in healthcare, pharmacy, or health technology

• Familiarity with healthcare, EHRs, or clinical systems

• Experience with AI-powered or data-driven products

• Experience building products for operational or workflow-driven use cases

• Background in startups or high-growth environments (seed to Series A)

• Technical fluency

• Uses AI tools in your workflow and is always looking for ways to move faster with them
