Kinetic Systems is a Stanford PhD spinout whose mission is to advance the capabilities of frontier AI models for solving clinically and economically meaningful healthcare tasks. We were founded in 2025 and are backed by General Catalyst.

The Role

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll be closely involved in all aspects of engineering, with a particular eye on building RL environments, translating research into product, building out core infrastructure and back-end systems, and developing user-facing websites and APIs.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and iterate on cloud infrastructure for running computer-use agents in secure environments

  • Build and maintain data pipelines to transform raw human data into high-quality training and evaluation assets

  • Develop evals, RL environments, and benchmarks that reflect real-world complexity

Who You Are

  • Have a strong background in dev / cloud ops (e.g. Docker, Terraform, etc.)

  • Have full-stack experience, i.e. you can spin up a production-ready website and handle both the backend + frontend

  • Are proficient in React, NextJS, and Tailwind

  • Are comfortable working long hours in a high-intensity, early-stage environment

  • Are excited to be on-site in SF and collaborate closely with a small team

  • Are interested in healthcare as an application (prior background not necessary)
