Senior Software Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional, team-oriented Senior Full Stack Engineer to drive the development of our cutting-edge AI SaaS product. Based in New York City's vibrant Flatiron District, Hatz AI is at the forefront of building innovative AI technologies for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and their SMB clients. You'll have the unique opportunity to explore emerging technologies and experiment with state-of-the-art AI frameworks while implementing production-ready solutions.

In this role, you will architect, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend systems that power our AI platform. You will collaborate with design, sales, marketing and customers to create valuable and efficient user experiences. You'll work at the intersection of traditional software engineering and artificial intelligence, creating engaging, intuitive user experiences while handling complex AI workloads and data processing pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, prototype and ship new features.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Implement responsive & design principles to maintain a seamless user experience across various devices.

• Create clean abstractions and interfaces which work with an integration-heavy technical product

• Troubleshoot, debug and fix application issues when they arise

• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our applications are current and competitive.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6-10 years proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.

• Proficiency in ReactJS, Typescript, and server-side environments

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.

• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Good to have skills:

• Experience working with generative AI APIs, streaming outputs, embeddings, and tool calling.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

• Working with container orchestration and cloud infrastructure

• Familiarity with server-side rendering and static site generation.

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL/SQL and Row Level Security
