Who we are

Zus is a shared health data platform designed to accelerate healthcare data interoperability by providing easy-to-use patient data via API, embedded components, and direct EHR integrations. Founded in 2021 by Jonathan Bush, co-founder and former CEO of athenahealth, Zus partners with HIEs and other data networks to aggregate patient clinical history and then translates that history into user-friendly information at the point of care. Zus's mission is to catalyze healthcare's greatest inventors by maximizing the value of patient insights - so that they can build up, not around.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a seasoned and technically sophisticated Director of Sales Engineering & Solution Design to join our commercial leadership team. As healthcare organizations accelerate their adoption of AI and data-driven approaches to care, the way they evaluate and adopt platforms like Zus is changing. This role sits at the intersection of technical strategy, customer partnership, and market shaping. You will define how prospects experience Zus - from first technical conversation through product deployment - and ensure every engagement demonstrates clear, measurable value.

You’ll lead and grow a high-performing team of Sales Engineers while staying deeply hands-on in solution architecture, AI-augmented workflows, and complex pre-sales efforts. You’ll partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to define best practices, shape the product roadmap, and ensure Zus consistently delivers transformative outcomes for customers.
