About the role:
The Baltimore Banner is seeking a versatile, ambitious reporter to join its regional team and cover Anne Arundel County. The Banner’s regional team is essential to the growth of our audience and the sustainability of our nonprofit newsroom.
Maryland’s fourth-most populous county is home to more than 500 miles of shoreline, a growing population and Annapolis, the state capital. It’s fertile ground for storytelling and deep reporting. This is a role for a journalist who can break news with authority, analyze trends and connect with the people who call Anne Arundel County home. You will produce stories that inform, entertain and resonate with readers, while helping bring in subscribers.

Additional Information:
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We constantly review all teammate pay to ensure a great compensation package that is fair and equal across the board.
