Lead Software Architect

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of systems to cloud-native platforms, primarily Azure
• Own and drive architecture decisions across a Kubernetes-based platform
• Serve as the go-to expert for Kubernetes design, scaling, and optimization
• Define and implement best practices for containerization, orchestration, observability, and reliability
• Mentor engineering teams and guide technical discussions
• Ensure that migrated systems are secure, scalable, and maintainable
• Balance long-term architectural vision with hands-on execution during the migration
• Collaborate on backend services (Golang) and frontend integrations (React) as needed

 Some Must-Haves:

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes (design, scaling, troubleshooting, production operations)
• Strong Azure experience
• Proven experience with distributed systems and cloud-native architecture
• Experience operating production systems with high reliability standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead technical initiatives
• Strong English (written and verbal)

Nice to Have: 

• Backend development experience in Golang
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (React)

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
