Job Role
The Senior Frontend Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern, performant web applications to deliver exceptional user experiences for Ensono's clients. This role combines frontend engineering expertise with AI-assisted development practices to accelerate delivery, ensure code quality, and meet accessibility and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with clients to transform ideas into actionable requirements, wireframes, and design mockups that shape the final product. Experience implementing secure authentication and authorization flows, particularly using Okta, is essential to ensure robust identity management across applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead frontend development using React 19, TypeScript, and Vite, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Design and implement user interfaces that meet UX requirements and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable frontend solutions
• Integrate with backend APIs and manage server state using TanStack Query
• Implement and maintain secure authentication and authorization using Okta SDK
• Build and maintain comprehensive test coverage using Playwright, Vitest, and React Testing Library
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, SpecKit) to drive spec-driven development and accelerate delivery
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Terraform, and AWS CloudFront
• Create and maintain component documentation using Storybook

Mandatory Skills-

Strong frontend experience with React 19 and TypeScript, using Vite for builds. Familiar with React Router, Tan Stack (Query, Table, Virtual), and Formic/Yup for forms and validation. Experience integrating Okta for authentication.
Testing experience with Playwright, Vitest, and React Testing Library.
Comfortable working with GitHub, Terraform, NPM, and AWS (CloudFront) in a CI/CD environment.
Experience using Storybook and GitHub Copilot.
Upcoming project will use Spec‑Driven Development, specifically SpecKit, so experience or willingness to work in this approach is required.
