About the Role 

Employee Navigator is looking for an Associate QA Analyst to be a part of our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the EN application’s integration with partners, particularly around benefits and payroll plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation and in-depth knowledge of the Employee Navigator application, with the ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of benefits, plans, and their specific requirements. 

Here’s What You’ll Do Day to Day: 

  • Apply a QA mindset and creative thinking to uncover defects 
  • Collaborate daily with product and developers to align on requirements, review implementation, and address issues 
  • Leverage QA experience and product knowledge to review and refine requirements 
  • Contribute to QA team development through collaboration and knowledge sharing 
  • Leverage QA experience and product knowledge to test new features, enhancements and bug fixes. Focus areas include: 
    • Workflow testing from company setup to employee app for various user roles 
    • Company: Employee, Tasks, ACA, Wall, Reports, PTO, Class Structure, Company Switch 
    • Licensee/Broker, Licensee Switch 
    • Partner 
  • Attend and actively contribute to huddles, lunch and learns and demos 
  • Capturing test cases in our test management suite 
  • Utilize strong deduction and troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and clearly communicate issues 
  • Fully comprehend features and changes to effectively validate fixes and uncover defects

Minimum Requirements: 

  • 1+ years of experience working at EN within the EN app working out of either EN's Frederick or SLC office
  • Good knowledge of EN app in HR and Partner 
  • Understand various roles (i.e. Licensee, HR, partner invited user), responsibilities and respective permissions 
  • ACA Knowledge is a plus 
  • Willingness to learn different technical techniques and testing tools 
  • Understanding HTTP methods, requests, and responses 
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in data and system behavior.
