Trulioo is hiring a Director, Solutions Consulting to lead our global strategy and manage our North America team. This is a technical leadership role at the intersection of deep field execution and organizational scale. You will personally drive our most complex enterprise evaluations while building the systems, standards, and team capacity that make that execution repeatable across the organization.
This is not a role for someone who manages through their team. You will be expected to step into live, high-stakes evaluations alongside your SCs, engage credibly at API and data level with enterprise technical stakeholders, and simultaneously build the frameworks that make the team less dependent on heroics. If your default is to delegate technical work and oversee from above, this is the wrong role.
You will report to the SVP of Global Solutions and own North America directly, while partnering with country managers in EMEA and APAC on global standards and consistency.
This will be a full-time, permanent position, ideally working out of the Vancouver office on a hybrid model (3 days per week in the office), but can be done remotely for the right person.
Step into the largest and most complex enterprise deals, providing hands-on technical leadership alongside your SCs
Personally run and interpret batch evaluations: analyze API output, identify data quality issues, fraud signals, and coverage gaps before they become customer problems
Engage credibly at the API level with customer engineering and technical stakeholders as a practitioner, not a narrator
Drive evaluation accuracy and commercial narrative simultaneously, translating what the data shows into a deal story that lands with product, compliance, and executive stakeholders
Define and implement a repeatable evaluation engine: clear standards for how we qualify, scope, execute, and debrief evaluations across products and segments
Assess what is not scaling, make explicit tradeoffs, and build frameworks that reduce custom one-off work in favor of reusable, high-quality approaches
Set and enforce prioritization frameworks that distinguish between Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Channel, and govern when custom POCs are warranted
Deploy AI-powered tooling to improve evaluation speed, consistency, and analytical depth across the team
Lead, develop, and hold a high bar for the North America SC team
Coach SCs on both the technical and commercial dimensions of the role: evaluation rigor, data interpretation, stakeholder communication, and deal judgment
Build a talent development model that grows senior ICs into leaders over time
Partner with country managers in EMEA and APAC to align global standards while respecting regional execution needs
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to structure evaluations, flag product gaps early, and close the loop between field feedback and roadmap prioritization
Drive alignment across Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions Consulting to accelerate the handoff from pre-sales to implementation
Influence without authority across functions. You will need to move product teams, resolve prioritization conflicts, and hold the line on standards without always having formal control
You have personally run complex, API-driven evaluations, not supervised them. You have pulled raw data, spotted data quality issues, identified fraud signals, and reframed pass rates before a customer asks you to.
You can engage at the API level in a technical discussion with a customer's engineering team without bluffing. You know what you know and what you don't.
You have led SC, SE, or pre-sales teams and built systems that measurably improved win rates, evaluation speed, or team capacity, with before/after data to show for it.
You have made hard tradeoffs: between custom and reusable, between saying yes to a deal and protecting team bandwidth, between what Sales wants and what the product can deliver.
You have managed performance directly by setting clear expectations, coaching people out of poor habits, and making the call when someone isn’t working.
You have hands-on experience applying AI tooling to SC workflows, including evaluation automation, data analysis, and deal intelligence
Experience in identity verification, risk, fraud, compliance, or adjacent regulated B2B environments
Experience managing in a global model, influencing regional teams without direct authority
A career history that shows genuine technical depth, not just technical adjacency: you have written code, pulled logs, or built something, even if that was earlier in your career
You have assessed the current evaluation process end-to-end, identified the two or three highest-leverage changes, and have measurable baselines in place
You have personally participated in at least two live enterprise evaluations and established your credibility with the team and with Sales
You have a clear point of view on what is not scaling and a prioritized roadmap for fixing it
A repeatable evaluation engine is in place and being used consistently, with documented standards for qualification, scoping, and execution
Evaluation timelines are measurably faster and more predictable
The team has a clear prioritization framework and is deploying custom POCs selectively rather than by default
Win rates in evaluated opportunities are trending up
The North America SC function operates with clear standards, strong individual performance, and minimal dependence on heroics
Global SC standards are being adopted in EMEA and APAC through your partnership with regional managers
New products and roadmap capabilities are being introduced into evaluations effectively, with the team ahead of the commercial curve rather than behind it
Implementation timelines are shortening as a result of better pre-sales alignment and handoff quality
